SpeedCheck Pro ("we", "our", or "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how SpeedCheck Pro handles information when you use our Android application.

SpeedCheck Pro does not require you to create an account, provide your name, phone number, email address, or password.

When you use network testing and diagnostic features, the App may access information available from your device and network, such as:

  • Network performance measurements
  • Download speed

This information is used to provide the App's speed-testing and network-analysis features.

Test Results

SpeedCheck Pro stores your speed-test results locally on your device. These may include:

  • Test date and time

  • Upload speed
  • Ping
  • Jitter
  • Packet loss
  • Connection type
  • Connection health score
  • Test endpoint information

Your locally stored test history is not uploaded to a SpeedCheck Pro server.

2. Internet Connections Used for Speed Tests

To perform internet speed tests, SpeedCheck Pro communicates with third-party network testing infrastructure.

The App may send and receive network traffic to perform download, upload, latency, and related measurements.

The network service used for testing may process technical network information, including information that is normally visible to internet services when your device connects to them.

3. Advertising

SpeedCheck Pro uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements.

Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect certain information for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. Depending on Google's current SDK configuration and applicable settings, this may include information such as:

  • IP address
  • Advertising or device identifiers
  • App interactions
  • Diagnostic information
  • Performance information

Google states that data collected by its Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.

Google's handling of this information is governed by Google's own privacy policies and applicable settings.

You can manage certain advertising and privacy controls through your Android device and Google's available privacy controls.

4. Local Storage

SpeedCheck Pro stores your test history locally on your Android device.

We do not operate an account-based cloud storage system for your test history.

You can delete locally stored test history using the available controls in the App.

Uninstalling the App may also remove locally stored application data, depending on your Android device settings.

5. Permissions

SpeedCheck Pro may request permissions necessary for network-related functionality.

These may include:

  • Internet access
  • Network state information
  • Wi-Fi state information

The App uses these permissions to provide speed-testing and network-analysis functionality.

6. Data Sharing

SpeedCheck Pro does not sell your personal information.

We do not operate a personal-data sharing service or user-account database.

However, third-party services integrated into the App, such as Google Mobile Ads, may independently collect or process information as described in their respective privacy documentation. Google's Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares certain information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.

7. Data Security

Network communications used by the App and integrated third-party services may use encrypted connections such as HTTPS/TLS where supported.

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children's Privacy

SpeedCheck Pro is not specifically directed toward children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through an account or registration system.

9. Third-Party Services

SpeedCheck Pro may use third-party services including:

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
